For each scenario below, choose the most appropriate answer from the list above. Each option may be used once, more than once or not at all.

1. A 69-year-old gentleman with a history of lethargy and a 5kg decrease in weight presented to the clinic. On examination, swollen lymph nodes were observed, and the spleen and liver were palpable. Blood results: Hb: 8.3, WCC 21 (lymphocytosis). Molecular studies revealed an atypical molecular pattern of CD5/CD23.

2. A 55-year-old lady presents to clinic with weight loss, lethargy, night sweats and abdominal swelling. The blood count shows an elevation of white blood cells. Cytogenic abnormalities show a transclocation (reciprocal change) at chromosome 9 and 22.

3. A 1-year-old boy with Down syndrome presents to the GP with severe bone pain and a testicular mass. Blood tests are ordered which shows anaemia, neutropenia and thrombocytopenia. A blood film shows the presence of blast cells.

4. A 36 year old lady presents to her GP with swollen fingers and painful joints in her shoulders. She is concerned as she has had 4 flu-like episodes over the past 6 months. On examination the spleen was palpable.

5. A male patient with HIV had an episode 1 month ago of a fever, generalised aches and pains, painful enlargement of the lymph nodes and a palpable spleen. He has presented now with night sweats and pruritis.
